A high level of customer service is required, as well as experience of leading others effectively. In addition to this, they will assist other mountain operations teams with the upkeep of the grounds, including mowing, garden work, hedge and tree trimming. Job Responsibilities: * Assist supervisor with leading, directing & motivating all employees while working in a “hands-on” environment * Assist supervisor in ensuring a positive employee experience through training, motivation & ongoing development of all employees. * Supervising parking lot attendants with daily duties and answering guest and attendant queries. * Direct traffic and assist in finding parking spots/ assist in reserved parking area, RV parking area * Attending to customer drop-off area; greeting and assisting/directing guests * Parking lot and lodge decks to be monitored; cleaned, swept and clear of garbage as needed throughout the day * Ensuring stations are checked and stocked for maps, tissues, garbage * Parking lot attendant keeps an eye out for lights left on, keys locked in car, vehicle maintenance problems, assists guests in getting help * At end of day assist in vacating parking lots, checking lots for garbage, remove and put away necessary signage * Use of hand held and motorized tools and machinery * Assist the supervisor with various tasks as required. * Assist in ensuring a safe working environment, and that yourself and attendants are following procedures correctly. Job Requirements/Qualifications: * Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s license (or international equivalent) with 3+ year clean driving record (no claims insurance letter must be provided before commencement of employment) is essential for the role * Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment * Previous supervisory experience an asset * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills * Energetic and self –motivated * Strong commitment to workplace safety * Ability to work outside in all weather conditions * A police background check, from the candidate's home country or province, will be required upon commencement of employment. Dress Code: Outdoor uniform (jacket and pants) which is requires $200 damage deposit. Steel toe boots are required.
