Job details
Bilingual Sales Development Representative French & English Bilingual | Financial Services | European Market This isn’t a role for someone who wants to simply work a list, hit an activity target and fill a CRM with meetings. We’re looking for an experienced Bilingual Sales Development Professional who knows how to open doors, build credibility and turn cold conversations into meaningful commercial opportunities. You’ll join an established organization supporting a globally recognized leader in data analytics as it continues to expand its presence in the French financial services and banking market, while having the opportunity to help build something. There are two absolute requirements for this position: You must be professionally fluent in both French and English. You must be based in Canada and able to consistently work Central European business hours (approximately 8am-5pm CET/3am-12pm AST) The Opportunity: You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging and developing new business opportunities within the French market, with a particular focus on financial services and banking. You’ll prospect into organizations, connect with senior decision-makers, understand what’s happening inside their businesses and create opportunities that can turn into revenue. This means you’ll: Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the French market Build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers Turn cold outreach into credible business conversations Qualify opportunities based on genuine business needs and commercial potential Develop and maintain a strong pipeline Use tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator and ZoomInfo to identify and engage prospects Work closely with the broader international team to support market expansion Take ownership of your results rather than waiting to be told what to do next Requirements Who We’re Looking For: The right person will probably read this and immediately recognize themselves. You’re comfortable picking up the phone and you know how to build rapport quickly without sounding scripted. You’re curious enough to ask great questions and commercially minded enough to recognize an opportunity when you hear one. You understand that strong business development isn’t about sending hundreds of generic messages. It’s about understanding the person on the other side of the conversation. You’re also: Competitive and internally motivated Resilient when you hear “no” Consistent without needing to be micromanaged A critical thinker rather than a script follower Comfortable navigating conversations with senior decision-makers Naturally relationship-driven Accountable for your own results Collaborative, but highly self-directed Energized by the opportunity to help build and grow a market What You Bring Non-negotiable: Professional fluency in French and English Ability and willingness to consistently work Central European business hours Approximately 2–4+ years of B2B prospecting, SDR, BDR or business development experience Previous experience within financial services and/or banking Demonstrated success generating new business through outbound prospecting Confidence using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo and similar prospecting tools Strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English Why This Role Is Different This isn’t about activity for activity’s sake. You’ll be selling into a sophisticated market, speaking with senior business leaders and representing a highly credible solution. You’ll have the opportunity to develop deep expertise, participate in real revenue conversations and play a meaningful role in expanding an international market. For the right person, there is significant room to grow. Benefits Employment: Full-time Location: Hybrid — Fredericton, New Brunswick Market: France / European financial services Working hours: Central European Time Schedule: Four-day work week Compensation: Competitive base salary + commission Benefits: Extended health and dental care, vision care, life insurance, RRSP matching, paid time off, flexible scheduling, company events and on-site parking If you’re a strong business development professional who understands financial services, loves opening new doors and wants the opportunity to help grow an international market, we’d like to hear from you.
