About the Role A leading player in the real estate financing space is looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their team on a one-year contract. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of data engineering and financial analytics — building the pipelines, models, and reporting infrastructure that power decision-making across a real estate financing business. You'll operate across the full modern analytics stack, from transformation and orchestration to governance and dashboarding, with real ownership over how data quality and reliability are managed in a regulated, high-stakes domain. What You'll Do Support real estate financing analytics initiatives end-to-end, from raw data to decision-ready insight. Build and maintain analytics workflows using Python and SQL. Develop and manage data transformation pipelines with dbt and Airflow. Work within Microsoft Fabric and Azure DevOps environments to deliver and deploy analytics solutions. Create and support reporting and dashboarding in Power BI for business stakeholders. Improve data quality practices and contribute to broader data governance standards. What You Bring Senior-level experience in analytics engineering. Strong Python and SQL skills. Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation. Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration. Experience working within Microsoft Fabric. Experience with Azure DevOps. Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI. A track record of improving data quality and supporting data governance practices. Based in Canada with permanent residency or valid work authorization. Nice to Have Prior experience in real estate, mortgage, or financial services analytics. Familiarity with regulatory or compliance considerations around financial data. Experience mentoring or setting technical standards for analytics teams.
