Senior Accountant

Accounting firm located in the Vaughan area seek an experience Senior Accountant with CaseWare who has experience with year end work with several small to midsize clients. Requirements: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Preparing and reviewing financial statements for clients Filing tax returns Submitting financial reports Managing a client’s financial activities such as general accounting and cash flow Developing and maintain relationships through ongoing communication Must have: 1, Staying up-to-date with the latest financial and accounting trends and software 2. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting 3. Experience with financial software and spreadsheets [Sage] 4. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data 5. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 7.Experience completing a full set of books. CaseWare is a requirement.
