Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $66,000 to $91,000. The final offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. Overview: The position will be responsible for coordinating the technical support for the Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project’s technical team and to facilitate the day-to-day work of the Technical Director, Technical Manager and Project Managers. Key Accountabilities: Performs project management activities, monitors project deliverables and reports out on project progress as it relates to submittals from the Design Builders. Keeps track of and facilitates stakeholder review of submittals, including consolidating comments from municipalities, TransLink, Owner’s Engineer, etc. Prepares, formats, and proofreads a variety of documents and materials such as RFIs, memos, presentation materials, graphs, flow charts, tables, reports, briefing notes, correspondence, and spreadsheets, using desktop tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Arranges and schedules technical meetings, and makes necessary arrangements (e.g., meeting dates and locations, required equipment), prepares agendas with pertinent background information, tracks and follows up on action items, attends meetings, and takes and distributes minutes. Responds to queries raised by the project team and elevates as appropriate. Document management within the technical team. Supports the administration of technical consulting contracts including review of activities, hours and associated expenditures. Develops and maintains a tracking system to ensure all technical correspondence, communications and submissions are documented and distributed. Need-based site visits may be required to support and assess project progress. Other duties as required. Qualifications: Post secondary education in business administration, arts, communications, or engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience; preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in project management for infrastructure or heavy civil projects. Detail-oriented and able to handle the demands of a fast-paced project with deadline pressures. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and problem solve. Experience and proficiency working with the MS Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), MS Teams, and SharePoint. Requirements

Post-secondary education in business administration, arts, communications, or engineering—or an equivalent combination of education and experience—is required, with preference for direct project management experience in infrastructure or heavy civil projects. Candidates should be detail-oriented, communicate effectively, work independently, solve problems, and be proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint; legal authorization to work in Canada and an acceptable criminal record check are also required.
