SUMMARY – Truck Technician Shift: Days, Full time-Permanent TransX has an exciting opportunity for a Truck Technician to join the Shop/Maintenance team in our Aberfoyle office. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Truck Technician will work in conjunction with the Service Writer and the other Technicians to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the TransX fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action. Qualifications * Licensed (DEP) for 5-7 years’ experience * Priority will be given to technician with Red Seal certification * Demonstrated diagnosing and time‐management abilities will be key to your success in this position * Able to perform repairs ranging from conducting PMs and light services & inspections through conducting major repairs on chassis, cab , axles, suspension, engine, electrical, and drivetrain components (including diagnosis capabilities) * Able to support a variety of OEs including; Peterbilt, Mack, Volvo, Kenworth, International and Freightliner * Previous experience and qualification to perform Safety inspections are considered an asset in this position, ability to obtain CVIP Certification is mandatory BENEFITS & PERKS WHY JOIN TRANSX? * Large, Canadian owned company * Operating for over 50 years * Leading transportation and logistics services * 11 Terminals across North America * Competitive compensation * Partnered training programs and learning supports * Committed to Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace.
