Acquisition of grammatical metalanguage, self-regulatory strategies and explicit and implicit strategies of grammar teaching. Analysis of grammar activities. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification. Course type: C Posting type: Régulier / Regular Language of instruction: Anglais | English Competence in second language: Passive Course Schedule: Mardi | Tuesday 8:30-11:30 - - Hybrid course Requirements: The preferred candidate will: a) hold a graduate degree (preferably a doctorate) in applied linguistics, second language education, or a related field; b) have a strong teaching and research profile linked to the area of second language acquisition and teaching; c) have expertise and experience in assessment in the context of second language; d) have demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the university level as evidenced by recent course evaluations or equivalent. Experience in training (future) second language teachers will be an asset. An acceptable level of education/experience could be viewed as being equiv. to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
