We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead and support the external audit process, including audit coordination, technical accounting research, and the preparation of complex analyses and reconciliations. This role will also drive key accounting initiatives, including IFRS implementation projects, internal controls, process improvements, and stakeholder support across Finance and Accounting. Location North York, ON. Going into the office 1-2 days/week. Why Work Here Clear opportunities for career growth and progression Hands-on role with meaningful involvement in audit execution and accounting projects Close collaboration with Accounting, Finance, and external auditors About the Opportunity Audit Support & Execution (40%) Lead and support external financial audit including audit walkthroughs, interim audits, and quarterly reviews by preparing complex audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Coordinate and respond to auditor inquiries, perform detailed analyses and support the resolution of audit findings to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant audit outcomes Accounting Projects & Technical Support (40%) Support accounting related initiatives such as new IFRS accounting standard implementations, policy updates, transaction reviews, and special accounting analyses; Perform technical accounting research and prepare documentation to support accounting positions, estimates, and judgments. Financial Analysis, Controls & Stakeholder Support (20%) Prepare and review complex account reconciliations, variance analyses, and supporting calculations Support internal controls over financial reporting, including documentation and remediation of control gaps Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within audit processes Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support to Accounting, Finance, and audit stakeholders About You CPA designation Min 3 years of experience in a public-company setting Public accounting firm (external audit) experience from a larger firm Strong IFRS or US GAAP proficiency Open on industry experience ; financial services backgrounds are less relevant Salary Range $95,000 - $105,000 / year (upward flexibility for firm + industry experience) How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume. Requirements
