Veterinarian, DVM Department: Emergency Location: Calgary, AB Western Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre is welcoming a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. This position provides an opportunity to work with top board-certified specialists and the ability to partake in cutting-edge veterinary medicine. Our goal is to provide a long-term career as an emergency veterinarian, with a sustainable shift-rotation schedule and a stimulating yet manageable caseload. We offer a dynamic team environment, encompassing specialty and emergency services. Candidates should have previous emergency experience, and completion of an internship program is an asset. We pride ourselves on exceptional client service and communication skills. Our 24-hour emergency department is led by our team of three Criticalists and a Critical Care Resident. This allows for even distribution of the workload and an overall improved hospital experience. Our specialists also participate in providing after-hours support to our emergency team. Requirements

Candidates must possess a valid DVM from an accredited university and have previous emergency experience. Completion of an internship program and a passion for trauma/critical care are strong assets.
