Principal Responsibilities: Develops annual budget and financial forecasts; monitors expenditures and revenue Analyzes monthly performance reports and implements strategies to improve profitability Oversees daily operations including scheduling, workflow, and resource planning Monitors technician productivity, efficiency, and overall work quality Hires, trains, mentors, and evaluates body shop staff, ensuring ongoing development Manages estimates, invoicing, and insurance claim tracking with attention to accuracy Enforces company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance Provides regular updates to senior leadership and participates in management meetings Reviews and closes repair orders, tracks work in progress, and ensures timely billing Identifies new revenue opportunities and process improvements Establishes performance goals and communicates expectations clearly to the team Builds and maintains positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and insurance partners Required Qualifications: Red Seal Certification as a Body Shop Technician Minimum of seven years’ experience in the heavy-duty truck body shop industry Proven leadership experience in a body shop or service management role Strong customer service background with experience in client-facing situations Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and dealership management software In-depth understanding of estimating processes, repair procedures, and insurance protocols Knowledge of federal, provincial, and local regulations impacting body shop operations #HP01 #bodyshop #collisionrepair #maintenance #trucking #dealership Who We Are: Velocity Truck Centres Canada provides full-service support, including sales, maintenance, parts, collision repair, and financing.
