Location Address 689 Griffith St London, Ontario N6K2S5 When Opportunity Type Ongoing - Start Anytime Schedule Asap About This Opportunity Volunteer Opportunity: Assistant Coaches for Alpine Skiing Time Commitment: 2-3 hours/week Mondays - 6:15 - 9:00 pm Jan 4/27- Feb 22/27 Location: Boler Mountain The role: Our program is not a learn to ski program. Athletes must be independent skiers with an interest in racing. Coaches do not necessarily need to have a racing background just be competent skiers themselves. Coaches are expected to be able follow instructions given by the head coach to teach athletes certain skiing techniques on areas they need to work on. At times as a coach becomes more comfortable, they may be asked to take more than one athlete on the hill at a time. Requirements

Applicants must be competent skiers; a racing background is not required. They must be over the age of majority in Ontario, willing to undergo a background or police records check, and able to commute to the opportunity location.
