Voyago is hiring a Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendant to fill an existing open position for our Kitchener Region! Your Role You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence You can provide outstanding customer service You have excellent communication skills Job Type: Part-time Salary: $19.50 per hour Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, to work up to 12-hour shifts Your Profile You must possess the following qualifications: You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification. Candidates must possess a valid First Responder Certification, AEMCA, or be a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification, along with Basic Life Support (BLS). A valid G class driving license, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to lift 250+ lbs are mandatory.
