Job summary

Billing Supervisor needed for Westcan Bulk Transport Ltd. Our Canadian Operating companies are Westcan Bulk Transport, RTL Construction, Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, and Fisher Transport – KAG Canada! 1 Vacancy Location: 12110 17 Street NE Edmonton, AB T6S 1A5 Canada The Billing Supervisor is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end customer billing process, ensuring accurate, timely invoicing while driving process excellence, and strong cash flow performance. Duties and Responsibilities: * Train workers in duties and policies * Prepare and submit reports * Ensure accuracy of financial transactions * Co-ordinate, assign and review work * Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments * Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance * Arrange for billing for services * Maintain accurate records * Monitor financial control systems * Offer mentoring * Invoice clients * Document investigations and conclusions/recommendations * Identifying and investigating compliance issues * Prepare monthly statements * Calculate billing charges * Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems * Leading/instructing individuals * Monitor department’s performance * Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control Supervision: * 5-10 people * Accounting and related clerks Experience and specialization Communication protocols: EDI Computer and technology knowledge: Automatic data processing (ADP), MS Great Plains (GP), MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Spreadsheet, Accounting software Service experience Trucking Area of specialization * Accounting * Financial statements * Reports and records * Project management Salary: $45.67 hourly/ 40 hours per Week Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible Requirements / Skills: Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Workplace information: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Requirements

Requires a degree in Business or Accounting and at least 5 years of experience supervising a team of 10 or more. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and experience with TMS or the transportation industry is highly valued.
