The instructor will deliver lectures for the Organic Chemistry I course, covering fundamental topics such as chemical bonding, stereochemistry, and various reaction mechanisms. They are responsible for teaching the theoretical components of the course while coordinating with a separate lab instructor for the laboratory portion. Applicants must hold at least a Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a cognate discipline. Preference is given to candidates with a PhD or those with advanced teaching credentials and relevant experience in similar courses.
