Vacancy Status - Full Time Salary Grade 6 Position Purpose Windsor Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Change Adoption Lead to manage change in our upcoming clinical and operational transformations. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of project management, clinical operations, and organizational psychology, ensuring that new technologies, clinical workflows, and policy updates are seamlessly adopted by our healthcare professionals. Duties And Responsibilities Develop comprehensive Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies and plans for major hospital initiatives, including electronic health record (EMR) rollouts, clinical workflow redesigns, and structural reorganizations. Lead change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness evaluations to identify potential pain points, operational bottlenecks, and resistance risks across multi-disciplinary departments. Build strong relationships with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative leaders. Act as a visible coach and facilitator to secure buy-in at all levels of the acute care environment. Partner with internal communications to create targeted, transparent messaging that helps staff understand why changes are happening, what to expect, and how it impacts their daily routines. Collaborate with clinical educators and project teams to shape training frameworks, user guides, and post-go-live support structures, ensuring staff feel confident using new tools and processes. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and adoption of metrics, with the teams, to track the success of transitions. Monitor feedback loops and recommend adaptive interventions when adoption lags. Skills/Capabilities Demonstrated ability to conduct all duties and responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with WRH’s commitment to promote positive customer relations when dealing with patients, families, visitors, volunteers, staff, and external agents. Exceptional interpersonal communications, and active listening skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence. Proven ability to navigate high-stress, fast-paced clinical environments with tact and diplomacy. Strong analytical capabilities with experience building metrics frameworks to track adoption and benefits realization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources or a related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive experience leading change management initiatives, preferably within an acute care hospital, healthcare system, or complex matrixed environment. Formal change management certification is strongly preferred. Demonstrated familiarity with clinical workflows, hospital operations, healthcare regulatory standards, and large-scale tech implementations (such as Cerner or other enterprise clinical systems). Contributes To Improve Outcomes Of Safety, Increased Quality And Delivery Of Care To Reduce Injuries, Near Misses, Complications, Infection And Mortality Rates By Maintaining and promoting a safe and clean working environment for all employees, students, visitors, patients/clients, family members and physicians and fulfilling the duties of workers under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Having the right to be part of the process of identifying and resolving workplace health and safety concerns. This right is expressed through worker membership on joint health and safety committees, or through worker health and safety representatives. Having the right to know about any potential hazards to which they may be exposed. This means the right to be trained and to have information on machinery, equipment, working conditions, processes and hazardous substances. Having the right to refuse work that they believe is dangerous to either their own health and safety or that of another worker. Members of the joint health and safety committee who are "certified" have the right to stop work that is dangerous to any worker. Reporting and documenting any observed risks or hazards to management personnel and taking immediate corrective action whenever safe and feasible. Acting in accordance with hospital patient safety policies and programs. Responding to safety risks to clients and takes action in situations where client safety and well-being are compromised. Reporting any observed risks to the appropriate authority whose actions or behaviours towards clients are unsafe or unprofessional. Enhances quality of care and contributes to the development of a client centered, team-based, learning environment by: Consistently contributing as a member of the program team and practicing the values of Windsor Regional Hospital. Participating as a member of project teams or committees as appropriate. Participating in activities of organizational renewal and development. Sharing expertise and knowledge with other team members and other teams throughout the organization. Demonstrating respectful, courteous, caring attitudes in all interactions.
