Job details
* Packaging: * Weighing, wrapping, and packaging meat products for display or customer orders. * Ensuring that all products are properly labeled with correct information (weight, price, and expiration date). * Stocking and Merchandising: * Stocking packaged meat products in the display cases. * Ensuring that the display area is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to customers. * Rotating products to ensure older stock is used first (first-in, first-out method). * Quality Control: * Inspecting meat products for freshness and ensuring they meet the store's quality standards. * Disposing of any expired or spoiled products according to health and safety regulations. * Health and Safety Compliance: * Adhering to food safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices. * Ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and maintained according to store policy. * Customer Service: * Assisting customers with inquiries about meat products and helping them find specific cuts or types of meat. * Taking special orders or custom packaging requests from customers. * Inventory Management Support: * Assisting with inventory checks and reporting low stock or issues to the Meat Department Manager or Director. * Other Duties Required by the Manager
