The Instrumentation Monitoring Student is responsible for collecting and analyzing geotechnical instrumentation data to ensure the safety of earth fill structures. Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting instruments, performing inspections, and participating in daily safety meetings. Candidates must be enrolled in or recently graduated from an Engineering Technologist, Engineering, or Geology program related to mining. A valid Class 5 driver's license and the physical ability to carry 20 kg over rough terrain are required.
