Cascadia Metals is actively seeking qualified candidates for the position of Class 1 Truck Driver. The successful candidate will be a driven team member, who shares our champion's mindset and values. This is a hands-on role where the candidate is expected to complete his tasks while providing support during your shift. Employees must wear steel toe boots Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all safety regulations within your job function Ensure product integrity during transit Clean and maintain your company vehicle Representing Cascadia well to our customers Effectively problem solve any day-to-day issues Communicate with stakeholders and team members in a professional manner Must be able to fill out standard drivers' daily logbooks Filling out paperwork for incoming/outgoing materials Safety Protocols (Pre-trip Inspections) Daily trips only – No overnight trips. Shipping/receiving, loading/unloading trucks The equipment in it and the general maintenance of the property. Skills/Qualifications 3 or more years of experience Automatic Western Star Day cab with 48 ft step deck Hauling and tarping sheet metal skids coils and pipe. 10-year drivers abstract needed when applying only apply through email no walk ins. Class 1 license with Air Brake certification Provide a clean driver abstract Excellent communication skills Able to work independently and as a team Strong decision making & problem-solving skills Excellent leadership skills Attention to detail and basic computer skills.
