The Games Manager is a key to the effective management of the gaming floor and employees. This role provides leadership, motivation and development support to the team. Additionally, the Games Manager is flexible and supportive, stepping in to various positions as required. We Provide * Full benefits package for full-time employees * Retirement savings plan * Exciting, supportive and fun work environment * Family and friends discounts on travel, tech, food, beverage, and fitness * Development and training opportunities Key Responsibilities * Supervises and observes pit activity, providing direction to front line employees as required. * Ensures compliance to gaming standards/regulations and policies/procedures. * Supervises and manages the performance of individuals through ongoing coaching, feedback and development to motivate, engage and drive a high-performing team. * Promotes and models exceptional customer service. * Works quickly to resolve customer complaints. * Completes various tasks to ensure effective operations, including planning for adequate employees’ levels and managing payroll. * Oversees staff scheduling and management. * Collaborates with Human Resources to develop recruitment plans based on labour needs, participates in internal and external job candidate selection, including screening, conducting interviews, testing and related activities. * Monitors and analyzes customer satisfaction scores to gain customer insight. * Coordinates gaming floor maintenance as well as conducts card, dice and tile reconciliation. * Manages layout inventory to ensure adequate gaming resource availability. * Monitors game operations to ensure that house rules are followed, and laws and regulations are adhered to. What You Bring * Gaming Experience is an asset, but not a requirement. * Proficiency in computer programs such as but not limited to MS Word and Excel. * Proven organizational skills. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and proven organizational skills. * Excellent people management skills. * Capacity to manage a team and take over various roles as required.
