Job Description Daily Responsibilities – Typical Day in the Life The selected candidate will perform clerical and administrative duties in accordance with office procedures. The role may include: Key Responsibilities Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints. Answer telephones, direct calls and take messages. Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities. Compute, record and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports. Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems. Perform clerical duties that are assigned in accordance with the office procedures of the work site and may include a combination of answering phone calls, bookkeeping, word processing, office machine operation, and filing, etc. Areas of work might be accounting, collection, filing, general office, inventory, mail, payroll, statistical or word processing. Required Technology / Software Microsoft Office Must-Have Skills / Experience / Qualifications 1-4 years administrative/customer service related experience Nice-to-Have Skills / Experience Industry experience and business function knowledge Soft Skills Verbal and written communication, multi-tasking, customer service and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and manage one’s time Ability to keep information organized and confidential Advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Attributes Information seeking Listening, understanding and responding Customer service/Service Partner Orientation The expected base salary range for this position is $19 – $20 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
