Job details

Investment Fund Industry Title: Front Office Transformation - Senior Analyst Type: 12-month contract Location: Toronto, ON Work Model: Hybrid - minimum 4 day/week in the office PR: $70-90/hr (As per experience) Hours: 37.5 hours/week Collabera is seeking a Front Office Transformation Senior Analyst to support multi-year Investment Platform Transformation, Operation Daybreak. The program is entering UAT and preparing for go-live, and this person will provide senior functional support across Orna’s Front Office workstreams. This is not a traditional requirements-gathering BA role. The priority is finding an experienced Front Office capital-markets professional who understands portfolio management, trading and investment workflows well enough to quickly investigate problems arising during UAT, understand their business impact, coordinate the appropriate stakeholders, and help determine a solution or interim workaround. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: The Analyst will act as a flexible pod-support resource across Front Office workstreams during UAT and go-live preparation. They will investigate issues identified during testing, identify gaps in investment workflows, coordinate across business and technology teams, and help redesign processes where necessary. If a system build, report or technology component will not be ready for go-live, they may help determine a manual workaround or interim operating process. They will not necessarily execute testing themselves; the focus is on functional problem-solving, coordination and issue resolution. Must-Haves: Approximately 5+ years of relevant capital-markets experience, with meaningful Front Office exposure Strong understanding of Front Office investment processes, particularly portfolio management, trading/trade execution and investment workflows Strong understanding of the investment/trade lifecycle Ability to quickly investigate an unfamiliar workflow/process issue and determine its business impact Strong problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills — able to bring together the appropriate business, technology and program stakeholders and help drive issues toward resolution Comfortable operating in a UAT/go-live environment with urgent issues and changing priorities Plusses: Buy-side experience within a pension fund, asset manager, investment manager or similar institutional investment organization Experience supporting UAT, implementation, go-live or investment-platform transformation Experience redesigning workflows/processes or developing manual workarounds when technology is not ready Experience with Aladdin, Charles River/CRD, Eagle PACE, Calypso, SimCorp or another comparable investment platform Aladdin experience is a strong plus, but not mandatory We may use AI-enabled and/or automated tools to support parts of our recruitment process, including application screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications. These tools are used to enhance consistency and efficiency. All hiring decisions involve human review and are not based solely on automated processing. The Company offers a total rewards package in accordance with all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and requirements. Benefit eligibility and offerings vary based on role, employment status, and work location. For contractor positions, benefits are limited to those entitlements and protections required by applicable law, which may include (as applicable) vacation pay, public holidays, leaves of absence, and other legally mandated benefits or payments.
