We are actively growing our Accounting Team and hiring for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our Green Energy team on-site in our Vancouver head office. Responsibilities: * Prepares financial statements and internal management reports and assists with day-to-day accounting functions for a portfolio of companies and projects * Prepare and review journal entries and accounts payable * Ensures accuracy of accounting transactions and manages accounts and bank reconciliation processes * Prepares and reviews intercompany and related party transactions, at entity and consolidation level * Compiles year-end audit working papers and liaises with auditors * Prepares partnership and corporate tax returns * Compiles annual operating budgets * Conducts variance analysis * Provides administrative support to the management as required. * Other duties may be required. Requirements: * Minimum of 4 years’ experience in accounting related position * CPA Designation * Attention to detail and accuracy in all areas of work * Excellent people skills and strong written and verbal communication skills * Able to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet deadlines * Competent in the use of Microsoft applications – Excel, Word, Outlook * Good team player, self-motivated and willing to learn What we offer: * Comprehensive benefits package * Partnership discounts * Internal growth opportunities * Transit accessible location Please note, only qualified candidates will be contacted
