Job summary

The Customs Rater is responsible for verifying and entering documentation into the Delmar system while managing new and existing files. They must coordinate with importers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure high-quality service.

Job details

Mandate: Reporting to the Brokerage Manager, the Customs Rater will be responsible for handling documentation received from Importers, Freight Forwarders, Airlines, and Transports which must be verified and entered into the Delmar system. Previously opened files may need to be updated, or new files will need to be created. The candidate will be responsible to request documents from importers to complete files, as well as interact with our customs and freight departments to provide outstanding service to Delmar’s clients.
