Mobile Unit Technician – Montreal If you enjoy being on the road, meeting people, solving mechanical challenges, and take pride in a job well done, put your skills in motion with us in the Montreal area! Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. In this role, you will: Perform the work described in the service call; Determine the cause of any defects and carry out the necessary repairs; Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain the required parts; Keep and label parts when the work is covered under warranty or when requested by the customer; Communicate with Service Advisors when additional work is required, when requested repairs are not necessary, or when repairs cannot be completed on the road or within the expected timeframe; Document all work performed on the repair order; Perform a road test of the vehicle, when necessary. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics and possess a valid Class 3 driver's license with an excellent driving record. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and knowledge of Cummins or PACCAR engines are considered strong assets.
