We're looking for a motivated Produce Clerk to join our team and help us deliver top-quality fruits and veggies to our valued customers. Responsibilities Cut fruits and veggies and prepare delicious food service items like parfaits and stir-fry mixes. Ensure prompt stocking and rotation of produce, keeping our cooler, back room, and produce hallway organized and clutter-free. Provide friendly and professional service, assisting customers and taking accurate orders over the phone. Conduct quality checks, remove damaged products, and pack orders for delivery. Maintain a spotless work area by cleaning equipment, sweeping, and mopping as per health and safety standards. Keep the production team informed about daily waste and fresh product availability. Follow safe food handling guidelines and store procedures diligently. Perform opening tasks like setting up the produce floor and closing duties such as turning off devices and disposing of garbage. Ensure an exceptional shopping experience by addressing inquiries and providing assistance. Be ready to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Qualifications And Skills High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, good communication and interpersonal abilities, Knowledge of health and safety guidelines, availability to work flexible hours Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
