We are hiring for a Full-Time Meat Department Manager with a wage range of $50,000 - $60,000 in Alberta. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Inventory Management through weekly ordering, record & invoice maintenance, and leading quarterly inventory counts Merchandise products within refrigeration shelving and coffin case freezers for promotional and seasonal displays Schedule Meat Department Team Members to ensure that production and customer needs are met Ensure company standards are met and department programs are followed Assist the Store Manager with recruiting while maintaining a high-performance work team Train, develop, and motivate Meat Department Team Members Resolve customer and Meat Department concerns and complaints, and provide a positive customer experience Maintain a clean and sanitized work area Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture by modeling our qualities of Drive, Integrity, and Growth Providing an exceptional customer experience What you Bring: 2 years minimum of progressive butcher shop or restaurant management experience A history of meeting financial objectives and targets in a butcher shop or restaurant environment Willingness to relocate to rural Alberta is an asset Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong Google Suite skills and the ability to quickly learn new computer programs Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills A passion for leading and developing others Effective critical thinking and conflict resolution skills Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays) Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development. #FBOPS Freson Bros.
