THE OPPORTUNITY Are you an Alberta Certificated Teacher who is passionate about early learning and supporting children with diverse developmental needs? FB Education Services is looking for a teacher to join our Calgary team in a unique blended role combining Kindergarten teaching (0.5 FTE) with Individual Program Plan (IPP) support (0.2–0.3 FTE) across our programs. In the IPP portion of the role, the teacher will support the implementation of Individual Program Plans for children receiving additional supports within our preschool programs. This includes coordinating IPP implementation at assigned sites, working directly with educators and families, supporting the development and follow-through of individualized goals and strategies, and collaborating with the FB Education Services team to ensure children’s needs are being consistently supported. In the Kindergarten portion of the role, the teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering a high-quality, play-based Kindergarten program, supporting children’s learning and development. This is a temporary opportunity starting as soon as possible through June 2027, with the potential for renewal. WHAT YOU’LL DO Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate Kindergarten programming aligned with Alberta curriculum expectations. Develop, coordinate, and monitor Individual Program Plans (IPPs) for children receiving specialized support. Work closely with educators to ensure IPP goals and strategies are meaningfully incorporated into children's daily programming. Visit assigned FBA Academy locations to provide coaching, guidance, and hands-on support to site teams. Collaborate with families, educators, therapists, assistants, and multidisciplinary professionals to monitor progress and support each child's development. Support documentation, IPP meetings, progress updates, and transitions between programs. WHAT YOU BRING Valid Alberta Teaching Certification – required Experience working with young children, ideally in Kindergarten or early childhood settings Experience developing or implementing IPPs Experience with PUF and Mild/Moderate funded children is a strong asset Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work independently across multiple Calgary locations Reliable transportation WHY FB Education Services?
