Job: Operations Manager – Warehouse / Cross Dock / Transportation- Operations Location: Calgary, AB Base Salary: 90K-110K, bonus, Benefits, Pensions, RRSP Full Time Permanent 5 days a week on Site Monday – Friday 8am -5pm Operations Manager – Warehouse / Cross Dock / Transportation Warehouse & Distribution Management Ramp Operations Management Front Line, Pick Pack, Employee Driver , Dispatch Management Transportation Union experience Our client is a global Transportation / Warehousing / Supply Chain organisation and has a job open for Operations Manager to oversee the ramp operations of high volume inbound outbound air freight, road, fleet, warehouse, cross-dock, distribution, driver management and transportation operations. This is an existing role based in Calgary, AB. This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient movement of freight through the operation while maintaining strong service levels, on-time delivery and operational standards. This is a union environment, managing unionised crew is a MUST have. The Operations Manager will oversee warehouse and distribution activities, inbound and outbound freight, transportation, fleet operations, company drivers, LTL and FTL shipments, and airport ramp operations. Responsibilities will include monitoring on-time delivery, tracing shipments, dispatch activities, claims and missed pick-ups, while ensuring freight moves efficiently through the operation. The role will oversee unionized employees across the operation and provide day-to-day leadership to ensure productivity, service and operational requirements are achieved. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for scanning compliance, service quality, resolving operational issues and ensuring effective coordination between warehouse, transportation, dispatch, drivers and ramp operations. The Operations Manager (Warehouse / Cross Dock / Transportation) will have min 4-5 years in senior leadership / management role in warehousing distribution transportation ideally within union facility with strong operations management experience managing KPI, continuous improvement, savings and productivity within warehousing, cross-dock, distribution and transportation. Degree is highly preferred; diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, CITT CSCM and similar is highly preferred.
