Position #: V28621 Expected Start Date: October 19, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Wascana Rehabilitation Centre City/Town: Regina Department: Community Health Services In-Service Education Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 29, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse B $42.040 to $52.440 Travel Required: No Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager, Program Services Continuing Care Education, the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) integrates knowledge and skill reflective of the former Regina Qu’Appelle health Region’s (SHA) Health Services models of care. The CNE will provide education and training rooted in the principles of patient centered care in clinical settings and professional development of nursing staff specific to a defined group of clients. The incumbent will support nursing staff to ensure they have necessary skills, knowledge and competence to deliver high quality patient care. In collaboration with the CNE Supervisor and other stakeholder such as leadership in continuing care homes, hospital and the SHA the CNE is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff, planning, implementing, and evaluating education activities/programs. The Clinical Nurse Educator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to Care Staff and other Support Staff in long term care facilities, community hospitals, integrated care facilities, and the Alternate Level of Care Unit in the RQHR. Positions will have specific responsibilities related to specialized client needs and clinical knowledge needs in the SHA. Human Resources Exemption: No Experience * Requires experience in program/resource development related to needs assessment. * 3 years experience in clinical area within the past 5 years * Requires experience in planning, program design, implementation, and evaluation. * Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities * 1 year previous experience in adult education Education * Graduate from an approved School of Nursing Other Education and Training * Requires or in progress towards a recognized Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing * Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS) Competencies * Basic - Computer skills Knowledge and Abilities * Ability to apply research to clinical practice * Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Standards and application of such * Ability to be self-directed * Ability to work with minimal supervision * Makes judgements on the basis of critical thinking and problem solving criteria * Can dev./implement/evaluate educational prog./resources incl. needs assessment * Articulates theory and knowledge related to the priniciples of adult education * Ability to establish, positive interpersonal/consultative relationships * Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrates ability to accept and implement change * Establish and maintain good communication patterns * Competencies: Leadership Skills * Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development * Ability to integrate clinical knowledge and experience into clinical practice Other Information * Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) * Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK (CRPNS) * For more information on the city of Regina please visit https://www.regina.ca/ * Valid Class 5 driver's license The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate from an approved School of Nursing and hold or be in progress toward a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing. The role requires at least 3 years of clinical experience and 1 year of experience in adult education, along with active registration with the CRNS or CRPNS.
