Public Health Inspectors are required to exercise considerable independent judgment in the course of a diverse program delivery. Program aspects include extensive legislation application and enforcement; health hazard assessment and abatement, communicable disease prevention and investigation, health promotion and education. Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health and a Certificate in Public Health Inspector (Canada). A valid Class 5 driver's license is also required to perform the necessary field duties.
