Job summary
Position Summary: The Dock Attendant will perform a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the docks. The Dock Attendant will work in a safe and efficient manner while providing a high level of customer service to all guests. This position reports to the Dock Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide amazing hospitality to guests and coworkers as prescribed in RESPECT Service System • Manage guest traffic flow on and off the docks • Follow safety protocols to ensure the protection of passengers and the vessel • Handle lines to moor vessels to dock • Ensure docks are clean and free of any debris • Answer general inquiries and provide information about facility • Immediately report any incidents or safety concerns to Dock Manager • Provide amazing customer service and assist guests with questions or concerns and relay information to Dock Manager • Assist Food & Beverage team with daily food delivery and restock of boats • Follows all safety policies, departmental policies, and service standards • Adheres to all health and safety regulations • Be prepared to begin work at scheduled time • Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards • Additional job duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications: • O.S.S.D. or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education • Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers • Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others • Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential • If required, wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. non-slip shoes, gloves, weather appropriate dress attire, sun protection) • Valid Ontario driver's license, Class G2 or higher • Walk, stand, sit and work in all types of weather conditions for extended periods • Will work for extended periods of time without sitting • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 40 pounds (18 kilograms) • Will be required to be available for work on all major holidays

Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma (O.S.S.D.) and a valid Ontario Class G2 driver's license. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in all weather conditions is required.
