Marketing Coordinator
About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Marketing Coordinator who is early in their career and wants to gain marketing experience in the technology industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organization, and time management skills. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and gain field marketing experience in a collaborative and fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Event Planning Assistance: Help in organizing hosted and sponsored events (Coordinate with vendors and assist with internal event administrative support to execute deliverables such as registration, marketing material, shipping, managing swag inventory, packing, help at onsite at events as needed) Event Identification and Support: Assist in identifying industry events, such as conferences, seminars, and webinars, that align with our company's objectives to create a significant marketing funnel. This involves research and networking to find promising opportunities. Administrative Tasks: assist with administrative duties as needed (maintaining events calendar, post event analysis report) Communication: Act as a communication bridge between vendors and internal teams, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the planning and execution of marketing activities.
Skills & Qualifications: Marketing experience: 2+ years of experience in marketing, events, or related discipline. Eagerness to learn and grow their career in the tech industry is highly desirable.
Organization Skills: capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite is required (Tableau and Salesforce would be an asset)
Flexible & Reliable: Ability to travel to onsite events (when needed), person with a vehicle preferred, capable of taking on new responsibilities as needed
The pay range for this role is 40-46 CAD per hour.
