Job Description & Requirements
We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:
- A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for certification in the Province of Manitoba, or willingness and ability to work toward a Vocational Industrial Teacher's Certificate.
- Red Seal Mechanic Certification and a minimum of two years of exemplary work experience in your trade since receiving Red Seal Certification.
- Demonstrated ability to program and teach Automotive Technology/Power Mechanics at the high school level.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- Previous successful high school teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability and experience with English as an Additional Language learners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in implementing a quality program.
