About the role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts Specialist to navigate the intricate realm of supply chain and commercial agreements. If you thrive in shaping the legal and procedural backbone of complex projects, this is your chance to contribute to solutions that matter.
This is a hybrid, 2-month contract.
Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts within the electric power sector, ensuring clarity, compliance, and risk mitigation. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, legal, and procurement to align contractual obligations with project goals. Maintain accurate contract documentation and support contract lifecycle management from initiation to closeout. Stay up-to-date on industry standards, legal regulations, and best practices related to contract management in the power and engineering sectors. Qualifications Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in supply chain management, commercial management, or a related field. Strong understanding of contract principles, structure, and language, with a solid grasp of contract law applicable to the electric power industry. Familiarity with engineering principles across civil, mechanical, electrical, controls, and IT systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and PDF editing tools. Experience with risk management tools and techniques. Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite or similar ERP systems. Exposure to electric power industry contracting practices and engineering concepts. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline. Relevant experience in power or engineering project environments. Other Requirements Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across different locations. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Willingness to adapt to evolving project needs and industry standards.
