What You'll Do
- Act as a trusted HR partner, supporting employees and leaders across the eastern region
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, from posting roles to onboarding new hires
- Provide guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and workplace matters
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with regulations
- Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee data accuracy
- Assist with workplace investigations, documentation, and resolution processes
- Contribute to employee engagement, wellness, and DEI initiatives
- Monitor and ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation
- Support health & safety programs, including participation in JHSC activities
- Prepare HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams across HR, Finance, and Operations on key initiatives
What You'll Bring
- 3–8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is required
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Canadian employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, ADP, or similar systems)
- Solid organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working across diverse teams
- A high level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage is an asset
