Offer exceptional service and create a positive guest experience for those dining in 360 Restaurant. This position is responsible for professionally managing the polishing of all silverware in the 360 Restaurant and ensuring it is equally distributed during service. Work towards making guests feel welcome and comfortable, while always performing under the Food and Beverage Standard Operating Procedures. Job Description Maintain sufficient levels of clean and polished cutlery
Maintain sufficient levels of cutlery in all side stands
Consistently retrieve bus bins of used cutlery from restaurant side stands throughout service
Operate the cutlery polisher in a safe manner, under the guidelines of the department Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Communicate with Restaurant Manager(s) when there are deficiencies with par stocks (i.e. glassware, china, silver, linen, and other miscellaneous supplies)
Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, products, cooking process, ingredients and potential relevant allergies
Follow up with management prior to shift regarding special functions or events for the day
Participate in departmental skills training as required
Assist the Restaurant Managers and Restaurant staff with other designated duties within the job classification
Adhere to all Company policies and departmental procedures and the Collective Agreement
Qualifications A minimum of one year of related fine dining experience is preferred
Smart Serve certification is required
Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
Working Conditions Interacts with employees, management and the public at large.Approved uniforms are to be worn during working hours. Dress codes are in effect as per the standard policy and procedure.Must be able to work in a physical capacity requiring lifting, pushing and pulling, bending and reaching.Noisy and fast-paced environment.Compensation & Benefits Rate of Pay: $19.99 (probation $18.99)
