We’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join Focus as a Sales Growth Advisor. This is a consultative sales role focused on helping business owners identify growth opportunities and determine whether Focus is the right partner to help them build a stronger sales organization.

About the Role As a Sales Growth Advisor, you’ll be responsible for managing the complete sales process from prospecting through signed agreement.
You’ll work directly with business owners to understand their sales challenges, conduct structured discovery, lead Sales Organization Assessments, present recommendations, and help them determine whether Focus is the right partner to support their growth.
You’ll receive training, coaching, proven sales frameworks, AI tools, CRM systems, and executive support to help you succeed, while maintaining ownership of your pipeline and results.
What You’ll Be Responsible For Prospecting and generating new business opportunities Building relationships with business owners, founders, CEOs, and executive leaders Conducting consultative discovery meetings Leading Sales Organization Assessments Presenting recommendations and proposed solutions Managing opportunities through to signed agreements Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline in HubSpot Developing referral and strategic partner relationships Achieving agreed sales objectives while representing Focus professionally

Who We’re Looking For You may be a great fit if you have experience in: B2B Business Development Consultative Sales Account Executive roles Sales Leadership Executive Relationship Management Professional Services or Solution Selling
You don’t need experience selling consulting services. What matters most is your ability to build relationships, ask great questions, communicate confidently with business owners, and genuinely enjoy helping businesses improve.

Compensation This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity designed for professionals who want to build a high-income sales career without income being capped.
Guaranteed Earnings During Ramp-Up We understand that building a quality sales pipeline takes time. To support your transition into the role, Focus provides guaranteed minimum weekly earnings during your onboarding period while you complete training, build your pipeline, and begin closing business.
Months 1-3: Guaranteed minimum of $600 per week Months 4-6: Guaranteed minimum of $300 per week Month 7 onward: Transition to 100% performance-based commission
If your earned commission exceeds the guaranteed amount in any week, you’ll receive your earned commission instead.
This guarantee is not a recoverable draw and never requires repayment. Continued eligibility is based on active participation in training, following the Focus sales process, maintaining CRM standards, and meeting agreed activity expectations.
