Job Title: Performance Engineer Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) Duration: 1 year | Extension: Possible | Conversion: Possible About the Role: Support important enterprise-wide projects, end-to-end performance engineering, from requirements and test planning through execution, analysis, troubleshooting, tuning, and reporting. Hands-on expertise with JMeter and Dynatrace, solid knowledge of non-functional requirements and application architecture. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end performance engineering and performance testing activities. Gather requirements, define workload models, develop test plans and scenarios, and execute large-scale performance tests. Develop, enhance, and customize JMeter scripts using advanced scripting techniques. Use Dynatrace for deep-dive performance monitoring, analysis, and bottleneck identification. Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations to improve system stability, scalability, and reliability. Perform performance tuning and optimization across applications, databases, and infrastructure. Work with developers, architects, operations, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and drive performance improvements. Prepare performance reports and communicate measurable findings and recommendations. Requirements
