Please join us This posting is for a Permanent Full-Time (1.0) FTE Educational Assistant (POD) Position with initial placement being at Bready Elementary School and commencing immediately. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom. Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset The Right Person will genuinely appreciate working with children and demonstrate patience, show empathy, and help make learning fun; possess strong planning and organizational skills while showing initiative ; have excellent communication skills and a willingness to work independently be positive, enthusiastic and thrive in a team environment. Requirements

A minimum of Grade 12 education and at least one year of relevant childcare experience are required. A recognized post-secondary certificate in Early Learning and Childcare, Youth Care Worker, or an equivalent program is an asset; candidates should also demonstrate patience, empathy, strong organizational and communication skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
