The Role They are seeking a versatile, detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to handle day-to-day financial operations while overseeing general office management and executive support for the CEO. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative manufacturing environment and wants to grow alongside an ambitious company. Key Responsibilities Financial & Accounting Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including general ledger maintenance and month-end preparation. Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) accurately and efficiently. Handle full company payroll processing using Sage 50 and oversee employee time card accuracy. Prepare and submit timely GST remittances and compliance filings. Manage day-to-day invoicing and follow up on outstanding accounts. Office Administration & Operations Provide high-level administrative support directly to the CEO. Coordinate shipping management, including preparing documentation and arranging freight or courier pickups for supplies and finished goods. Oversee general office management, order supplies, and maintain administrative systems. Maintain vendor and supplier relationships to ensure smooth facility operations. Candidate Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated accounting experience working in Canada. Software Proficiency, ideally with experience using Sage 50 and Microsoft Office Suite. Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Canadian accounting principles, payroll regulations, and GST filings. Work Ethic & Fit: Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable with a collaborative mindset suited to a small, established team. Location: Reliable transportation to the Maple Ridge facility.
