The AVP provides transformative vision and leadership to guide the university's commitments to indigenization and decolonization. This includes integrating Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum and overseeing the Office of Indigenization and Decolonization. Candidates must be an Indigenous leader with a minimum of a Master's degree and at least five years of progressive leadership experience in a university or similar environment. Proven expertise in strategic planning and a deep understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action are required.
