What to Expect: Join the Confectionery team as a member of the official Break squad! We are looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager, KitKat based at our North York office. You will play a central role in shaping strategic planning, supporting the development and execution of breakthrough Marketing campaigns, driving end to end product & portfolio decisions, on the iconic KitKat portfolio. Our ambition is simple: drive KitKat to be the #1 Chocolate Brand in Canada as the champion of better Breaks for the next generation; and we’re looking for the right AMM to help reach that goal. This position is an existing vacancy. A day in the life: As Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be leading or supporting critical initiatives across the business. This role is a great opportunity to hone leadership and end to end management. You will be working with a high-performance cross-functional team, and local and global stakeholders, with lots of autonomy and support. You will regularly: * Gather and interpret multiple sources of data (including AC Nielsen, Customer POS, Consumer Research, Financials, etc.) to develop a comprehensive understanding of category dynamics and business health. * Support the annual planning process by reviewing business performance, consumer trends, and category dynamics. * Support the planning and commercialization of innovation and renovation projects, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver successful launches. * Help ensure marketing activities align with brand fundamentals while continuously seeking opportunities to strengthen consumer engagement and brand relevance. * Support monitoring and optimization of marketing investments to maximize business impact. * Bring a consumer-centric mindset and curiosity to uncover opportunities for growth. * Collaborate with agencies, partners, and internal stakeholders to execute marketing initiatives with excellence. * Build strong relationships across functions and contribute positively to a collaborative team environment. * Model success in adopting Brand Building the Nestlé Way, contributing to the broader success of the Nestlé marketing community. Role Requirements This role requires a candidate with a passion for marketing and the determination to stretch your capabilities and make your mark. As the successful candidate, you will be an agile thinker who can balance strategic thinking and executional impact with excellent planning, communication and project management skills. You will also have: * Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with comfort working both independently and within a large matrix organization. * Curiosity to look beyond the surface of a challenge and the resourcefulness to pursue solutions. * An understanding of product commercialization processes within a CPG environment. * Minimum 2 years of marketing or related experience; CPG experience strongly preferred. * University degree in Business or Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * A proactive, self-motivated and results-focused mindset with the agility to manage change. * A positive attitude and the desire to energize a team and contribute to our winning culture.
