We speak and listen to athletes daily in order to develop and design unique products based on their needs. Better serving them and the sport of football. Job Summary: As an Industrial Designer, you will be a key part of the Product team by creating innovative products across the NXTRND brand ecosystem. You will be responsible for bringing new designs to completion, keeping a close eye on the development timelines, communicating with suppliers and manufacturers, testing your designs and ensuring the product viability, staying “on-brand”, and foster a culture of excellence in everything you do. Task Overview: • Design, maintain, and update top tier products across the NXTRND catalog • Research, conceptualize, and prototype, in both soft - and hard goods • Keep ownership of the projects, be organized and structured in your work • Assemble clear and concise technical packs, and review documentation • Create listing graphics and help with copy for all our digital and print platforms • Create convincing product renders, and illustrations to support merchandising team • Prepare print-ready production files for both products and packaging • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines • Review samples for color accuracy, construction, fit, and production quality • Maintain organized file structures, and sample identification/storage Skills: • Advanced proficiency in 2D software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, etc… • Strong knowledge of 3D software: Fusion 360, Rhino, Blender 3D, etc… • Experience in both soft and hard goods design and manufacturing • Ability to prepare production-ready artwork for packaging and commercial printing • Strong attention to detail with excellent sense of critique • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams • Experience in the sports, footwear, and protection industries are considered assets • Knowledge of sewing and pattern making is considered an asset If you meet the above qualifications and are ready to take on this challenging role as our Industrial Designer, please submit your resume for consideration.
