Pay Rate: $58.96/hour, depending on experience Contract Length: 1 year Location: Burnaby, British Columbia Raise is currently hiring a Contract Professional on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada. Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable. Description The IT SAP Functional Consultant will to join our clients Customer Care and Billing (CCS) team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a lead consultant, solution architect, and configuration expert for major SAP implementations, system enhancements, and ongoing operational sustainment. You will focus heavily on SAP Industry Solution for Utilities (IS-U) Customer Service, specifically driving processes related to Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA), Collections Management, Meter Reading, Device Management, and Billing/Invoicing. Responsibilities Coordinate the onboarding of contractors under newly executed Master Service Agreements (MSAs), ensuring all contractual, administrative, and system requirements are completed. Prepare, review, and administer formal contract communications and documentation, both internally and externally, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Manage contract submittals and transmittals, ensuring accurate processing, tracking, and record management. Integrate newly awarded contracts into existing contract portfolios, including the establishment of governance, administration, and reporting processes. Support project delivery teams in the effective utilization of contracts by providing contract interpretation, practical guidance, and assistance in preparing high-quality contractual documentation. Identify and help mitigate contractual and commercial risks, support negotiations, and assist stakeholders in reducing exposure to potential claims and disputes. Lead contractor performance management activities, including the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of performance measurement frameworks and stewardship processes. Create and administer purchase requisitions, Service Entry Sheets, and invoice approvals within corporate systems to support contract execution and payment processes. Coordinate and facilitate annual rate adjustment processes in accordance with contract terms and organizational requirements. Support the development, evaluation, and administration of contract change orders and other contract modifications. Plan, coordinate, and facilitate regular contractor stewardship meetings, annual performance reviews, and other contract governance meetings to support effective contractor relationships and continuous improvement. Maintain accurate contract records, reporting, and administrative documentation, recognizing that effective contract management requires both strong commercial judgment and diligent contract administration. Required (9) years of contract management work experience with Extensive experience in contract management and contract administration, preferably supporting installation and/or maintenance contractors. Demonstrated experience interpreting, administering, and managing commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle. Experience working with SAP, including procurement, purchasing, invoicing, and payment processes. Experience utilizing SharePoint or similar document management systems for contract administration and records management. Experience supporting internal stakeholders by providing contract guidance, resolving contract-related issues, and facilitating successful contract execution. Experience Considered Assets, any of these are nice to have but are not required: Experience in procurement or supply chain management. Experience in construction scheduling, project coordination, or project controls. Experience supporting contractor performance management, stewardship programs, or continuous improvement initiatives. Experience working within utility, infrastructure, industrial, construction, or other large capital project environments. Skills and Competencies Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word,PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and professional correspondence and contractual documentation. Strong conflict resolution, facilitation, and negotiation skills. Effective presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines. Collaborative and team-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups. Sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with diligent contract administration Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Economics, or related discipline, or equivalent Certificate in Project Management, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, an asset Additional Information Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
