Count Team - Casino Vancouver Under the direct supervision of the Shift Manager, Cage, Slots & Guest Services or the Supervisor, Count Team, this position is responsible for the counting and movement of cash assets from the gaming floor. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports The Company’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities * Counting bills, coins and cash equivalents * Organizing and securing the storage of count carts, drop boxes, drop buckets and bill cartridges for count pulls * Reporting suspect cash and cash equivalents * Verifying and reconciling before and after counts * Bagging, bundling, securing and transporting counts * Providing information for reporting purposes * Communicating effectively with all appropriate operational departments * Building strong working relationships with internal and external guests * Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations * Performing other duties as assigned or directed Education and Qualifications * Must be available to start work at 3:00am * Minimum 1 year of experience in high volume cash handling and counting * Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License Work Environment Considerations Standing for long periods of time, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stretching, bending, interruptions and non-traditional work hours At Casino Vancouver, nestled in the heart of Coquitlam, we’re proud to be one of the region’s most exciting entertainment destinations — a place where world‑class experiences meet warm, polished hospitality.
