Licensed Practical Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) Position Summary: We are seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support Emergency Room (ER) departments in acute-care healthcare settings. The LPN will provide timely, safe, and patient-centered care to individuals presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergency medical conditions. Key Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and promptly report changes in patient condition. Assist with emergency procedures, treatments, and clinical interventions under the direction of RNs and physicians. Administer medications and treatments within the scope of practice. Perform wound care, IV-related procedures, specimen collection, and other nursing duties as permitted. Monitor patients for changes in condition and escalate concerns appropriately. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and emergency department protocols. Provide compassionate patient and family support during urgent and stressful situations. Qualifications: Current and valid LPN license in the applicable province or jurisdiction. Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program. Recent Emergency Room/ED experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment. Current BLS/CPR certification as required. Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
