Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive care nurse Position Summary: Russell Tobin is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join Intensive Care Unit (ICU) teams across British Columbia. The RN will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill and medically complex patients, closely monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, managing advanced therapies and equipment, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and medically complex patients in the ICU. Conduct ongoing patient assessments and closely monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in clinical condition. Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other treatments as ordered. Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps. Assist with procedures and provide support during emergency interventions. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and professional standards. Educate and support patients and their families regarding treatment, care plans, and recovery. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions. Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Minimum 1-2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Strong knowledge of critical care procedures. Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills. Current BLS/CPR certification. Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Requirements

Requires a current Registered Nurse license, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and 1–2 years of critical care or ICU nursing experience. Candidates must have ACLS and BLS/CPR certifications, strong critical care knowledge and clinical assessment skills, and flexibility to work varied shifts.
