Savanna Well Servicing is looking to grow our business and we are currently hiring for the role of Service Rig Derrickhand based out of a number of our field offices in Western Canada. The primary purpose of this role is to assist the Driller/Operator with the monitoring of mud volumes and maintenance of equipment required for completion of the job. This position also assigns junior crew members to complete tasks on the rig floor, as required. This fundamental role involves: • Aids the Driller/Operator in overseeing all of the well servicing rig process • Effectively handles rods/tubulars • Monitors fluids systems • Services rig engines • Supervises floorhands and other labourers, as needed • Other duties as assigned Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • A team-player with the ability to build good work relationships • Ability to effectively lead and mentor other individuals • Mechanically inclined • Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage his/her own time & tasks effectively • Attentiveness and good listening skills • Reliable with strong safety values • Relevant functional and technical skills Qualified Candidates Require: • 1-2 years of experience as a Service Rig Derrickhand • Valid H2S Alive certification, First Aid Certification and CSO • Enform Derrickhand Competency preferred • Class 5 Driver's License with airbrakes endorsement preferred • Class 1 or 3 Driver's License considered an asset -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **What does Savanna have to offer? • Safety conscious supported values • Awesome company matched Employee Stock Savings Plan (150% match) • Family Health & Dental Benefits • Above industry wages and Competency Bonus If you are an employee and you have a friend that you would like to refer, we also have a referral bonus program! Requirements

Requires 1-2 years of experience as a Service Rig Derrickhand and valid H2S Alive, First Aid, and CSO certifications. A Class 5 driver's license with airbrakes is preferred, while Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset.
