About the role

To support its ongoing growth and strengthen its team, our client is currently seeking a motivated and proactive Production Supervisor who is ready to take on hands-on challenges at the heart of their manufacturing operations. As a key player in the production chain, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders to clients.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and developing production schedules and monitoring progress to meet delivery deadlines and sales objectives.
- Identifying priorities and making quick decisions to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Optimizing production processes and ensuring strict adherence to procedures.
- Working closely with the estimating team to provide realistic delivery timelines.
- Analyzing delays or issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Supervising and supporting your production team on a daily basis.
- Managing purchases related to production (safety equipment, maintenance parts, etc.).
- Performing any other related tasks as required.

Requirements:
- Degree in production management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial planning environment.
- Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
- Functional English, both spoken and written (may be required to communicate with English-speaking clients or suppliers about 10% of the time).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Inspiring leadership and strong team spirit.
- Experience in metal manufacturing is considered an asset.
Salary: $65,000 to $85,000 per year
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Status: Permanent
