Additional premiums may apply. Location: Kamloops, BC. Schedule: 7x7 What You'll Do As a Labourer at SMS Equipment, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced shop environment. Your day-to-day will include: * Washing and cleaning heavy equipment, including removing mud, grease, and debris * Painting service equipment and parts as required * Assisting technicians with tasks like component removal or material handling * Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free wash bay and shop area * Using basic tools and equipment such as forklifts or hoists under supervision What You Bring We’re looking for a team player with a strong work ethic and safety-first mindset. Successful candidates will have: * Minimum 1 year of related industry experience (or equivalent education/experience) * High school diploma or equivalent * Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management skills * Ability to perform physically demanding work in a variety of conditions * Basic understanding of heavy equipment or willingness to learn * Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Forklift, WHMIS, and TDG training is an asset) This position is classified as an Individual Contributor role in SMS Equipment’s competency framework, requiring demonstration of core competencies (customer focus, collaboration, and technical/functional expertise).
